General design

This WordPress blog theme has a full-width style and masonry structure. All the elements are made from straight lines and lines are also used as decorative tools. That strongly makes the appearance solid and robust. Moreover, it has a very creative way to display the social media and sidebar. This design not only saves the places for other elements but also gives out the breath of modernity.

I'm really impressed by the warm tone of color throughout the demo. The orange color in highlight parts makes everything so energetic. Meanwhile, the background and text are white, light grey and black for easy reading purposes.

Open-san and Open-san condensed font have different sizes and styles suitable for different functions. They are straightforward and readable, looking solid and "condensed".

The most impressive thing in this theme is the full-width header image with the parallax effect. This image appears on all pages so that they all look as pretty as the homepage. The menubar is made to be transparent so that it looks more open and comfortable.

The footer area is on the separated background to be more prominent. Notably, each element in a widget here is divided by straight lines, looking so neat and attractive.

The slide-out sidebar can help readers focus on the blog but still get all necessary widgets if need. Yet the slide-out sidebar just appears on the homepage. On the other pages, it lies on the right side like other themes. I really love this design as it is both reasonable and distinctive.

The 1-click demo import isn't compatible with this theme. Hence, after you activate the theme, your website will not look as beautiful as the demo. But don't worry, you just need to spend a little time and effort to make your page look like the demo. The header image, font and color palette of the demo already exist on your website. Your work is just adding the content, widget and some more actions in the Customizer.

This WordPress blog covers all the necessary features for a common blog. And it also gives you the Slide-out sidebar and Social linking to make it more outstanding. However, that's all you get because the author doesn't recommend any plugin for Instagram Feed, Social Sharing or Related Post.

There are many features that you can carefully edit in this theme. All the actions can be done easily in the powerful Customizer. I applied all the custom features and note some important sections for you here.

The font section will satisfy you with up to 20 fonts for the heading and the content text. You just need to choose 1 favorite font in the repository and it will change immediately.

There is another way to extremely personalize your blog: the color palette. The abundant number of custom color allows you to color the site as much as you can imagine.

Next, you can't change the mason structure of the blog but the layout choices will let you choose the number of columns. All the choice can be selected and applied in the right way.

The global layout is also unchangeable. The sidebar is kept in the right of the page and you can't disable it. Yet I think that as you own the amazing slide-out sidebar, the position of it's not too important.

The header area is fixed with the default style like the demo. The only elements you can change is the header image. It has the default size so I advise you to select and crop your image properly to make it fit with the frame.

The social menu allows you to add as much URL as you want. The icon of the popular social site you choose will appear on the website.

Last but not least, this WordPress blog theme lets you control the way you display your single post. But there is no option for the archive post page.

It's very easy for you to use this theme every day with all kinds of post formats supplied. Even a layman can quickly learn how to create a new post with the needed formats.

The blockquote has 2 styles. When compared to the normal text, I see that they don't look so much different.

I create my own gallery very easily. The images are arranged orderly and neatly like this.

The SEO configuration hasn't been available in this theme yet so you have to install a plugin to have it. However, the author forgets to suggest any plugin for SEO. If you're a beginner, you may find it hard to know what plugin is most matched with your website.

There is a huge gap between the speed when you use this WordPress blog theme on a mobile device and a computer. The speed on a computer is not excellent but I think it's still acceptable.

I just find the documentation for the Alizee Pro. I guess that there is no instruction for the Free version. But you can still find some guides for similar features in the Pro version documentation.

You can receive support from users and moderators in the support forum. The search tool helps you quickly find the keyword or topic you want.

In the WordPress support forum, I don't see any response from the author. So I guess they don't answer here.
