Moreover, the author designs the post display really attractively and creatively. You can see it in the way he put the titles to the images here.

The straight lines and square are used to create the block and other elements. They also serve as a decorative tool. That design embellishes the appearance and makes it catchier.

Other elements like color and font are very important. Both neutral colors like light grey, dark grey, black and white, and warm color like red are used here. This choice enhances the elegance of this WordPress blog theme, but still, makes it look energetic and modern.

Josefin Sans and Oxygen are set up for your typography. They are readable and also very creative.

The prominence of this theme is the full-width banner. They contain the breadcrumb and page/post title. On a single post page, the feature image lies in this position instead. I believe that it's a good way to attract people and make the theme really amazing.

Other elements like the footer and sidebar all look good, clean and tidy. Especially, the sidebar doesn't show up on archived post page to spotlight the body content.

This WordPress theme is friendly with all kind of screen. It means that when you use this theme in PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone, the design is still okay, the header image is still so stunning. I find no mistake at all when test the responsive design by ami.responsivedesign.is.

After you activating this WordPress blog theme, they will require you to install one-click demo import plugin in the Dashboard. It will give you the website that looks like the demo so you can use it as a foundation for your blog. The work of installation and importing the demo data is very quick in about 1 minute. So you don't have to worry if you are a beginner in this field.

If you don't want to use this plugin, you can manually change your website. The color and header image are already similar to the demo. The rest of your work is customizing the body layout, sidebar, and footer in the Customizer.

There are only basic features for a simple blog so I think you should look for some plugins if you want more features.

There are quite a lot of custom features for you to carefully style your website. Everything can be done conveniently in the Customize. There are only 3 color sections for you, but they can considerably change the appearance of your blog.

Now, let move to the Font page section, here we have Banner, Featured, Recent articles, list article, and Blog section. Each of them can be chosen to be shown or hidden.

The featured section allows you to display only 3 pages. I think the number of pages is enough for me to show, but If I want a single post or category here, it's impossible.

The recent post is made for showing your category. All of the posts in the selected category appear in this area. I wish that I could choose the number of posts to show instead to fit with the grid structure design. Similarly, it happens with the List article.

The Blog has Recent section to display other than the Category. But you can't still control the number of posts.

Lastly, you have 2 widget areas: the sidebar and up to 4 footer columns. All the basic widget of a WordPress blog theme are provided here.

 

The author gives you all the necessary post format of a WordPress Blog theme. You can use these formats easily every day.

The blockquote display very distinctively and nicely. You can compare the normal text and the blockquote to see the difference.

Video inserts inside a post with a large screen, easy to watch.

You can show your photos in a gallery. It looks very good and tidy even when the photos have different sizes.

I check the SEO configuration by tools and see that this WordPress blog theme hasn't been optimized for SEO yet. The author doesn't suggest any plugin to has this function so you have to find yourself. I think it can be a challenge for a beginner like me to know what plugin is most suitable.

The speed is checked by PageSpeed Insight. The result here shows that the speed of Blog Page needs much work to be improved. It's low on a mobile device and medium on a computer.

This theme has full documentation for the installation and customization. They write with a very understandable way and illustrate with screen captures. So it's very helpful for everyone, even a beginner.
