General Design

The layout is super outstanding and unique. The round frame of the featured image is the exceptional character, which marks the difference of this theme from the others. Besides, the design is mainly based on curved lines, giving this theme the gentleness and softness.

Other elements

It's really cool and peaceful when you view this theme thanks to the light blue color. The white background and the light grey texts are also bright and easy to read.

The Cursive and Poppins fonts are really matched with the curved and round elements of the design. Hence, it considerably contributes to the softness and friendliness of the theme.

The layout of the archive page is very special. Along with the round frame of the featured images, the zig-zag layout is also a breakthrough. That design plays the most essential role to make the appearance extremely pretty and innovative.

The header in the demo and that one in your website when you install this theme are different. You can compare the two header areas below. It can be seen that the demo header is larger and it contains a button, looking more interesting. But the button requires addtional CSS so it'll be difficult if you don't know anything about coding.

 

Next, the full-screen menu and slide-out sidebar help to save the room for other elements, but it can still appear very prominently when you click the button. The sidebar and menu are very simple, yet spacious and airy.

The Contact widget area has a blue overlay. I think that overlay makes it quite difficult for the readers to view the texts and the button. Luckily, you can change it to any color you want in the Customizer. And again, the button here only appear when you add CSS.

The featured image of the single post is tremendously outstanding and catchy. The line spacing of the body content is also adequate, giving a sense of "flow" and comfort.

Responsive

The design is still beautiful in all kinds of devices without any mistake. Notably, the header image is still very stunning. You can see the responsive design checked by ami.responsivedesign.is.

This theme is ready to use after you activate it. ClubFood isn't compatible with one-click demo import so you are not able to import the demo to your website. However, it's very easy to make your website like the demo. All the required actions can be done quickly in the Customizer.

The author doesn't recommend the WooCommerce plugin in the plugin tab. But it's very easy to search for this plugin in the WordPress.org.

You can customize all the basic features and the powerful Customizer helps you do it very conveniently.

There are unlimited colors for you to choose from. All the color sections can be applied properly.

Next, the header image can be chosen and cropped to any size you want but it still keeps the default aspect ratio.

The background image of the Contact Widget area can be changed as well. Yet it doesn't allow you to crop the image so you have to crop it before uploading.

As for social media, they provide you with up to 10 popular designated links. You just need to insert the link to the right track and its icon will appear in the top bar. But I think that there should be a custom link in case that you may have another site besides these designated ones.

Finally, there are 2 widget areas for you to add any common widgets from WordPress. It's said that this theme has another widget area but I can't find it anywhere.

All the necessary post formats are available and you can master them quickly.

It has a gallery that gathers your images in one album.

The video

There are 2 styles for the blockquote. The first style makes it look exactly similar to the normal text so I prefer the second one.

The video has a small screen so you have to zoom in to watch it more clearly.

I checked the SEO configuration by some tools and saw that this theme is already optimized for SEO.

As for the speed, I used the PageSpeed Insights. It reports that this free WordPress theme has medium speed. I think that result is passable.

I couldn't find the theme's documentation now. Maybe they will public it later.
