General design

Using this theme, you definitely feel like walking to an actual restaurant, sitting on a table and opening a menu. Generally, this free WordPress theme is like a menu, looking very modern, elegant and fancy. Especially, the background is packed with a filter so the visitor can view different sections of the page with ease and comfort.

Other elements

Throughout the theme, black is the main color, combined with the white texts. The tone of color makes the whole look extremely luxurious and decent. About the typography, the author uses Open-sans and Raleway, the basic and easy to read font.

Notably, the stunning slider on homepage is designed for the pro version only. Hence, in the free version, you only have a static page like this.

The archive page has a list of the posts displaying very nicely. However, it will not be as nice as the demo if you have the different-size featured images from those ones of the demo

The feature that plays that the most important role in making this theme resemble a menu is the slide-out sidebar and the full-screen menu. When you click the hamburger button, you will open a full-screen menu. It make me feel so exciting like I'm opening a real menu to look for some good dishes, which are the pages and front widget.

The slide-out sidebar is also put in a filerable background. This kind of sidebar can help to save the space of the whole site, making people focus on the main content, but still appearing when needed.

Other elements like footer, social icons are very simple and straightforward so people won't see the theme as a website, but as a real menu in a restaurant.

Responsive

If you often use different devices, you will be satisfied that this theme displays nicely and reasonably in every device without mistake. You can see the responsive design checked by ami.responsivedesign.is.

After installing, you can use this theme flawlessly without doing any extra action.

If you want to import the demo content and have the same-look page like the demo, it's impossible. Because this theme doesn't support one-click demo import. Therefore you have to spend time on the manual set up. But don't worry, it's a pretty simple mission. The powerful Customizer will help you do all the necessary tasks easily.

The Menu like the demo doesn't available in the free version. So you have to buy the premium one to have it. Or you can try this method to have a custom menu.

All the custom features can be modified in the Customizer with live preview very easily and conveniently. However, if you want more advanced features here, you have to buy the pro version. This free version just allows you to own and change some basic thing.

The header and background color can be changed normally with an unlimited number of colors.

A background image will help your page more creative. You can do some pre-setting actions to make it fit well with the layout. It also appears when loading a new page.

However, the background image may make you confused with the header image as they occupy the same position. You can choose any picture and crop it but you have to keep the default aspect ratio.

This theme has a social menu in the footer where you can add a custom link widget. The icon of your social media, if it's popular, will appear immediately. This social media allows you to add any social site as you want without any limitation.

Finally, there are two widget areas: the sidebar and front widget. All the common widgets from WordPress can be added here. Yet there is a small mistake with the front widget. When I add more widgets, the list of them is longer and overflows the background. To make the matter worse, I can't scroll down to see all the widgets. Hence, you should add one widget here and this widget should lie totally in the full-screen menu's background.

This free WordPress theme has all the common post format for you. They look good and very easy to use.

The gallery looks nice and neat so that you can show our dishes or any photograph in an attractive way.

The video has a large screen for you to enjoy.

The blockquote is bigger, but not so different from the normal text.

For SEO configuration, this theme has not been customized for it yet. So if you want to have it, you have to find a SEO plugin. The author doesn’t recommend any SEO plugin at all, which may be a disadvantage for a beginner to find a suitable one.

This free WordPress theme it performs a medium speed. The speed is not excellent but I think it’s quite good for a free theme. The results are taken from Page Speed Insight.

At the moment I can't find the documentation for this theme. Maybe the author will public it later.
