General design
The trendy style can be seen in the sophisticated and modern design. The list structure on the homepage displays the featured images in a stunning display. And as you can see, the 2 first posts look even more special with the dashed lines bordering the frame. I really love this border as it highlights the post-boxes from the background and gives them a beautiful look.

Apart from this list structure, Memory also has a grid structure with 2 columns. Yet it doesn't resize your featured image so you should choose the images carefully to make it balance.

Other elements
The colors are classic and simple: white, black, light grey and blue. The blue elements, in spite of taking some small parts, plays an important role in making the theme less boring.
Work Sans and Josfin Sans are the 2 default fonts used in Memory. It's really matched with the classic style of the color scheme and also readable.
In this theme, I strongly believe that the featured slider is the most beautiful area, and even looks extremely modern. It's not a full-screen or a large slider, but it displays very stylishly. To make it more interesting, the box containing the post title appears with the animation like this.

Next, I want to say something about the header style. The title, tagline and social menu are centralized, which is very neat and symmetrical. There it comes with the special features: the sticky menu and the slide-out menu. Just like other elements of this theme, the slide-out menu also looks very good and clean.

Slide-out menu
The sticky sidebar appears on the right side on every page. The slim straight and dashed line help decorate this area, which is the careful design to make this area very delicate.

The live preview is the pro version so you see the Instagram carousel in the footer. In this free version, no Instagram pictures show up here but the footer area is still eye-catching with these creative elements.

Footer
On the single post page, the line spacing is adequate, the featured image is large and every element looks fine. That really encourages me to read more, even in a lengthy post.
Responsive
I'm pretty sure that you the users will address your blog through different devices, so the responsive design is very important. This free WordPress theme looks fine in every device and I find no mistake with the responsive display at all. You can see the responsive design checked by ami.responsivedesign.is.
