Music Lite is an ideal place for those who love dark style. It features a dark background and a simple yet unique homepage. When combined with extensive layouts and large, prominent typography, the design becomes shaper and more robust.

Overall, this bold and sleek design is tremendously a gift for people who love the mysterious style. Yes, it's mysterious, charming in a sleek and unpolished way.

Using white texts on a dark, mysterious background is a good idea that makes Music Lite daring and luring. But if you don't like this dark style? Don't worry, you can change the black color to any color for the background. However, the white text and purple highlight parts are fixed. Therefore, you can't make your website as colorful as wished.

This free music theme uses a wide range of fonts: Serif, Montserrat, Anton, Roboto. They have different styles like round, slimline, but when combined together, they look really harmonious and coincide with the theme's general spirit: dynamic and strong.

The homepage is so simple with only three parts: header, video background, and footer. This layout is, indeed, effective to show off your tour image, calendar, and attract visitors more.

But if that's not your purpose, you can modify the homepage to add more content. It will still be extensive and prominent.

There are many different widgets like portfolio, profile, blog, featured, hero content. Each all follows the general style of this free theme so I 'll just review some outstanding ones for you. Like this portfolio widget, you can find it flawlessly displays your images in a neat grid layout with interesting zoom-in effects.

Blog widget has the box style. It means that each post is put in a separate box, which allows readers to scan and read posts easily. The large white boxes are no doubt the major attraction of this page.

Music Lite shows its incredible ability to display beautifully on all viewports and devices.

One-click demo import is not compatible with this free music theme. But setting up by hand is not a bad idea. Right after you install, your site is already in a quite similar form like the demo.

You need some more steps to turn the homepage to a video-background page and set up other widgets. It requires you to set up a static page as a home page, assign the Home template in the Page Attribute for it, and then set the header video in the Customizer. That sounds simple, right? However, to have other page widgets, you must install Organic Builder Widgets to have Organic widgets, and then set up Page Attribute. I think it's a bit more complicated than other themes.

Finally, you must install the Organic Custom Content plugin to set the tours calendars that display on the front page.

After a few basic settings like creating a new post, a beginner like me I can totally do it, so you can, too.

As I mention, Organic Builder Widgets is the key feature of Music Lite. It gives you 12 custom beautiful widgets to create almost every page layout like portfolio, blog, hero content, ... Notably, you can put it on the homepage, footer, and sidebar easily.

However, while reviewing, I couldn't any feature to display a playlist, which is an important feature of a music theme. You just can add WordPress shortcode for a playlist in a widget.

The most powerful feature of Music Lite is Organic Builder Widgets plugin integration. This is a simple WordPress page builder plugin that provides 12 custom widgets to be used within the Customizer. You can see the list of custom widgets here, all are easy to use like other common widgets.

However, if you want to insert these widgets to any page, you have to set the Organic Custom template for this page first. I bet that if you're a beginner, you may not notice this. So, reading documentation is always necessary.

In the Customizer, there are not many options. Even the Color option has only one section to change the background. That's quite boring to me.

It's more convenient when you change the header media. There are three ways to add media: upload a video, upload an image, or insert a YouTube link here. Wow, it's awesome to just enter a link, but I wish I can do it with other video resources other than just YouTube.

Another disadvantage of this section is that you can only use a header video for the front page. But it's fine by me as I can still use a header image for other pages.

If you want to add social media icons, there is a social menu location for you. By creating a social menu and assign it to the social location, you can add mostly every popular icon easily.

Thêm Options include just two sections to add contact information on the header and "read more" button on the homepage. That's all easy to do and nothing bothers me while reviewing this free theme at all.

All the common blocks from the Gutenberg editor are all displayed nicely. It's not a problem if you already know how to use this editor.

You have an additional block when installing the Organic Profile Block plugin. This block allows you to add a profile conveniently. This is how it looks like. Quite good, right?

I checked SEO by some special methods and found that this free music theme hasn't been effectively optimized for SEO yet. So you should use a plugin to write better content.

PageSpeed Insights reports that Music Lite needs to improve the speed more. It's still quite low on both PC and mobile devices.

The documentation just includes some important and complicated instructions for setting up a homepage, tour date, social media links. I couldn't find any guide for the customization now.

Priority support and theme setup support is not free. If you don't want to pay, technical theme support welcomes you. However, some content is restricted to paying customers so you can't see all the topics here. That's quite disappointing for me.

Fortunately, you can receive quick support from the author in WordPress.org forum. That eases my soul a lot.
