General design

All the sections of this theme lie on a sole page, that's why it's called the "One-page" style. OnePress focuses on the professional look so all the elements are well-balanced, clean and prominent. Besides, there are multiple styles and layouts for each part that you can see clearly when customizing it.

Other elements

I won't describe much about each elements as you can observe it through the demo. I'll just mention the most notable things to my mind.

The most important factor contributing to the first impression of viewers is the full-screen header image. The big title even has a rotating effect to maximize the creativity of this first screen area.

The navigation on the left can help you jump to the section you want quickly. These small dots are cute, so you can think of them as decorative elements.

The gallery layout can be switch to a container style instead of the full-width one in the demo. Especially, it gives you all the structure to display this part.

I think that you should choose the Justify style since it can automatically arrange your images in an orderly way.

You can select an image as the full-width background with the parallax effect for the Video Lightbox section. A full-screen video will appear when readers click the background, and I think that's a good design to catch the people's attention and leave a long-lasting impression on them.

Responsive

This theme works well on different devices and screens. It means that the design looks good in all viewports like desktop, smartphone or tablet.

After installing, you can use this theme immediately. And to set it up and make it similar to the demo, you are given two choices.

The first way is using One-click demo import. Initially, you have to install Famethemes Demo Importer in the recommended actions tag. Then, there are two demo pages for you to choose from.

However, the importing process may take your time so you have to be patient.

The second way is the manual set up. It's quite different from most of the other WordPress business themes when you set up the homepage. You have to set a homepage by creating a static front page and set your homepage page template to "Frontpage". The rest of your work is using Customizer to edit all the section on the front page. It may take your time if you are a beginner, but I'm quite sure it's not complicated at all if you read the documentation carefully.

This featured-rich theme definitely provides you with all the most important and extraordinary feature for a business website. Besides, you can install other plugins to make your page more special.

Apart from setting up the "front page" template in the Edit Post, all the other works of customization lie in the Customizer. You should be careful to customize this theme because there are many customization tools.

Just customizing the front page only has taken so much time as the list of custom features for the homepage is this long.

But don't worry, they are also easily editable without any mistake. And all the sections above can be shown or hidden quickly in one click.

When you change the Hero Content text or other similar description section in the Customizer, you should pay attention to the shortcode track. It looks pretty different from the other themes, right? This method of writing allows you to add the shortcode, not just the normal texts. I consider that it may confuse the newbie like me when I've first looked at it. Yet everyone can still write texts on this track normally.

There is an example from the author for the Large text in the Hero Content so you just need to add your word in the right place or keep the animation shortcode if you want.

As for the other sections like Features, Service, Counting, Our team, the number of items is limited to 4. To have more, you have to upgrade to the pro version.

The Service section displays your chosen pages and their featured image. Together with the featured image, you can choose one icon from the numerous icons in the repository here.

Our Services

In the Our Team section, the number of columns can be easily switched from four like the demo, or two and three columns. But I still can't find the way to change the name of each item.

The Theme options section has multiple sections for you to carefully edit your page. It's comprised of both advanced and basic features, which can be customed properly. I guess that you may spend a lot of time to discover all the sections. Yet don't worry, because things are simpler than you think.

You have a table create from thin lines like this. But I think it's a bit cramped.

When I checked the SEO configuration by some tools, I knew that this theme hasn't been optimized well for SEO yet. To have this feature optimized, you have to use a plugin for SEO. Among the recommended plugins, there is no plugin for this feature so have to find one by yourself.

The documentation can be used easily with the search bar. You can enter any keywords to see the best-matched result. They have all the instruction for installation, importing demo data and customizer. The documentation is written carefully with detailed and helpful step-by-step instructions and illustrations.

If you can't see any solution for your problem in the F.A.Q, you can use the support ticket to ask for a technical assistant. They said that the pro theme buyer can receive priority when using this ticket, but you can still have help for any free theme.

In the WordPress support forum, I don't see any answer from the author so I guess they don't work here.
