General design
From my personal view, ePortfolio becomes one of the most unique and beautiful free WordPress portfolio themes thanks to the creative layouts, minimalistic design and the combination of animation. The layout is smart and diverse so that users can easily scan the content and enjoy it in different ways. Meanwhile, the use of dynamic effects on different parts makes ePortfolio extremely robust and energetic like this:
The dynamic animation
But I'm afraid that if you don't like this style, the animation can be pretty glitzy.
Besides using ePortfolio with the demo template, you can easily switch it to a photography template. This template is also unique, but simpler. It showcases your photos more extensively and prominently.

Other elements
The use of light blue and light pink color immediately makes me feel so cool and relaxed. Especially, the light pink elements show people how sweet and graceful this theme is, which eases the sharpness of the black color in the sidebar menu. Overall, black, blue and pink, which seems to contrast and irrelevant to each other, become so harmonious thanks to the wise combination of the designer.
On the other hand, the author chose a simple font: Open-sans for all texts. I think it's suitable to use this font for this minimalistic theme.
I have to give a compliment on the smart and creative layout of this portfolio theme. The homepage is divided equally into 3 parts and each part has its uniqueness. While the sticky sidebar menu makes it so calm, the "About me" section and Gallery bring about a sense of quick movement, particularly when they come with some funny animations. That's why you can see that it both still and moving so interestingly and magically.

However, I find a mistake with the page title and the sidebar menu. If the title is too long, it can't be fully displayed like this.

Now go to the archive post page and see how creative and stunning it is. The featured post slider is outstanding with distinctive design. Even the navigation becomes a piece of decoration. If I don't view it closely, I nearly think that it's a decorative pattern.
The slider navigation in the archive page
The most excellent point of this free Portfolio theme is that it can let users choose the archive post page's layout visually on the front end. There are two beautiful styles: list and masonry layout.
The list and masonry layout
The list layout is large and overwhelming with alternatively positioned images while the masonry layout is really well-arranged and attractive. So brilliant!
Because this free portfolio WordPress theme has high personalization, the About me page is carefully designed with Elementor. It looks simple but really unique. I think that depending on each user's taste, it can be beautiful or not.
The About me page
When moving to the single post page, I finf that it's not as attractive as the other pages because there is no featured image. The texts look quite cramped here so I feel a bit difficult to read if it's a lengthy post.

Responsive
ePortfolio has reasonable ways to adapt to different devices so that it can look good in even hand-held devices.
