General design

This minimum theme comes up with a readable, clean and clear design. The main elements create the solid, neat and "tight" of this theme are the straight lines and the way the featured images are arranged closely to one another.

The global layout in the demo is box-layout. But you can change it to the fluid one. I think that both layouts are okay but I still prefer the fluid layout as it looks "liberal" and open.

The header is intriguing. It looks dark and strong, beautified by the full-width image. There is only one header style, but you can make a change to it by choosing another image or a video for the header media.

The single post page is simpler with no header image or any decorative elements. The featured image of the post is also pretty humble, causing no dramatic impression to me. But I think that the design of the sidebar combined with the simpleness of the body content on this page is an amenity. Thus, I can feel vẻy comfortable when reading.

However, there is a small matter with the Featured Post. It's when the featured images have different sizes, the performance will no longer be well-balanced like in the demo.

Responsive

Now that this free WordPress theme has a responsive design, it can display beautifully in all the viewports and screen. I tested this theme on my smartphone and tablet and it looks okay.

The installation can't be easier and simpler. This free WordPress theme can be used right after you activate it without installing any plugin. To resemble the demo, you need to do almost nothing. The header image is already imported, the content, if you already have them, is arranged properly like in the demo. That's why despite having no One-click demo import, your website will still nearly look like the demo. Now the rest of your work is creating featured content and set up the sidebar, which can be done quickly in the Customizer.

Besides the necessary features like Post formats, Gutenberg editor and Comment, this theme has many catchy and outstanding ones. They are Featured Post and Hero Content, which is already available without any plugin.

Moreover, Catch Themes suggest many plugins to help you easily get other features if you want your page more interesting.

By using powerful Customizer, you can modify many features and personalize your website to some extent.

The basic things like color, background image, menu, and widget are available and easy to be changed.

Take the color for example. You can choose any color for each section and the new color appears immediately in the right part after being selected.

Besides the static image, this theme gives you a video background. By uploading a video, or in a much easier way: inserting a Youtube URL, a full-screen video is shown very attractively.

Moving to some special parts like Hero Content and Featured Content, it's very quick and easy to customize.

Unlike other themes from Catch Themes, you don't need to install the Essential Plugin Types or create any post for the Featured Content in the Dashboard. Here, in the Customizer, you are able to manage all the things related to it. The maximum number of pages is 20 and it allows you to choose the layout for a perfectly balanced display. I think that this number is adequate to use.

The Hero Content lets you choose one page in this area. I think that's not a good idea when the most 2 special parts on the front page display pages only. There are many other important posts I want to show here as well.

The Theme Options section gives you a lot of things to modify, both the minor and major features. All of them can be easily editable and you can see the change clearly through the live preview.

There are many post formats to make your post so versatile. Moreover, the Edit Post has two extra different layouts for your post: full-width and wide-with.

It would be extraordinary and impressive if you choose a full-width layout for your video, image, or gallery.
